	Miha Nemec was born in 1973 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and studied there on the Academy For Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. Since then he has been working as an actor in different theatres: SLG Celje, Slovenian National Theatre in Nova Gorica, Slovenian National Theatre Drama in Ljubljana and independent theatre institutions such as Theatre Glej Ljubljana, Stara Elektrarna Ljubljana, E.P.I. Center, Ex ponto and others. As an actor he won ZDUS award. In 2009 Nemec and his wife Maja, who is also an actress, established their own Theatre TNK. In 2011 he was co-writer and also the director of his first and very successful play LIFE®ANTI in production of Theatre Glej, SNG Nova Gorica, Theatre TNK and School of Arts Nova Gorica. The play received a jury reward in the largest Slovenian theatre festival 46. Borstnikovo srečanje in Maribor 2011 and next year three awards (best director, best actress, best costume design and best make up together with Niki Bonetti and Anamarija Cej) on SKUP 2012 - Festival of small stages on Ptuj. It was also shown on 42. Festival of Slovenian Drama in the competition programme, Festival Prelet in Ljubljana and Festival Prestopi in Maribor. In 2012 Nemec directed ROKOVNJAČI (Ruffians): co-production between SNG Nova Gorica and PG Kranj. ROKOVNJAČI (Ruffians) won the best performance on 43. Festival of Slovenian Drama 2013. His recent work was 2014/15 production Hotel Blue Monky, theatre play writen by Miha nemec And Nejc valenti, Directed by Miha Nemec in Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana. Hotel Blue Monkey was a part of Festival of Slovenian Drama in the competition programme 2015 and Days of comedy in Celje 2015, competition programme. In 2015 he directed a play from Ivan Cankar in co – production of three theatres: Slovenian national theatre in Nova Gorica, SSG Trst and PG Kranj.
