Vesna Hočevar

Življenjepis

Režiserka in producentka Vesna Hočevar (*28. oktober 1978) se je med leti 2005–2007 izobraževala v smeri Theatre Arts na Ventura College (Združene države Amerike) in med leti 2007–2009 študirala Theatre Arts na Santa Monica College v Los Angelesu. Med študijem na Ventura College si je pridobivala izkušnje tudi z delom v gledališkem ateljeju, med študijem na Santa Monica College pa kot asistent režije in inspicient za neodvisna gledališča na poročju Los Angeles. Po končanem študiju pa je delovala je kot neodvisna gledališka režiserka (Odyssey Theatre; South Coast Rep; Car Plays 2012 Moving Arts/Off Center Festival; Celebration Theatre; Playwrights6; Women Against Gun Violence; Car Plays 2011 Moving Arts/ Radar LA; LAWPD, Los Angeles) in neodvisna producentka (Bootleg Theatre; Deconstructed Productions; Celebration Theatre; Moving Arts/Hollywood Fringe 2010, Los Angeles).

Med leti 2013–2014 je bila izvršna directorica gledališča TheatreFactory Studio v Los Angelesu, ter med leti 2014–2015 Production Manager v svetovno znanemu Odyssey Theatre Ensemble v kjer je imela čast delati z umetniki kot Jeff Perry in Jason Alexander.

Med leti 2013–2015 je bila članica Theatre Producer's League of Los Angeles kot predstavnica gledališča Moving Arts in članica prestižnih nagrad Ovation Awards.
